Humans are intelligent beings. We all fight for our survival. If
we grew up in mountains of garbage, we will do what is necessary to
survive. However, we all grew up in a buzzling city, and we are all
doing whatever we can to survive.
Of course, there are those of us who remember to empathise with
those worse off than us, and then there are those who devote time
and money and effort into altruistic deeds.
Just because we are doing our best to survive in our corner of the
woods, in no way mean that we are better off, nor worse off.
Because ultimately, the question is one of survival, and we are all
just doing what needs to be done so that we can face many other
tomorrows.
